Jeanne Lottie Warehouse Sale

Went to the Jeannie Lottie warehouse sale today. It was at Holiday Inn at Steeles & Woodbine. I went a little after 10am. There were ZERO accessories even though the ad had said.. accessories, shoes & purses. However, as I was about to leave I saw they had a huge box of accessories/jewelry, etc. but they hadn't set it up yet & it was sitting in the back of the hall. I couldn't be bothered to wait n e more cuz I had been in there for over an hr lol

There weren't as much deals as in the past. Things used be be GONE in a few mins. But that's cuz they priced things a lot lower. The good purses were no longer under 30. It was all over 40...50....60.. even 100 for some nice 'leather' material purse. But if you truly looked there were some deals. I mostly bought things around $10! ^^ All the items are for the new MWC queen when she goes off to Miss World. You don't need super expensive items at MW. Who would really notice? Just as long as it looks good! But I'm keeping two purses just cuz!

Now.. gonna to tell a story that only shopaholics would understand.

Confessions of a shopaholic? lol
I nearly bought silver strappy shoes there (looks like this
http://www2.victoriassecret.com/images/prodpri/V260084.jpg but no platform). I had no idea how much it had cost at the time but found the shoes neatly packed (lots of sizes) in a huge box underneath a table. So I quickly grabbed a size 38 (cuz I'm a 38 for shoes made in China). As I was about to adjust the strap, this lady asked me "where'd you get that?". So I told her and she grabbed a box in her size. While I was still adjusting the strap I realized... crap the 38 was too big and I needed at least one more hole in the strap to fit!! There were no other 37's in that huge box! I was thinking FARK! I hope that bitch didn't take a 37 cuz I NEED to try that on lol. I found her stationed nearby trying on shoes (she had LOTS in many colors) & saw the box she took was DEF. a size 37. So I sat beside her pretending to try on my other crap. When she went off to look some more (hey she left the boxes there!) I swapped it with my 38 then I took off LMAO.... Anyhow I didn't end up buying those because itturned out they were $30. They were ok for comfort but wasn't worth it for that price. Not to mention the style is a little out. Just though I'd share my 'Becky Bloomberg' moment ;)

Are you addicted to shopping?

Are you addicted to shopping? What kind of shopper are you? Compulsive, measured or dash-and-grab? Take our quiz and find out... http://money.ninemsn.com.au/saving-and-spending/quiz.aspx?quizid=2394

Shoegal & I took this quiz ....and ended up with the same score! I believe we may have a problem :)

Total Points: 17

17 - 23: I shop because I want or needYou enjoy shopping but there's usually a reason you're on the prowl — gift-buying, wardrobe update, shopping with friends. You can walk past a shop without going inside, but that doesn't mean you're not checking out the windows regularly just in case.
Shopping is most pleasurable for you when you know you can afford it, so you do your best to keep the credit card under control — which is not to say that you haven't been known to impulse buy and then wait in dread for the bills to arrive.
Make sure you keep an eye on your spending — put expensive items on hold for 24 hours before buying (that way you know you really love it); ensure you've got the best credit card for your spending patterns (whether that be rewards, low-interest, interest-free period); try to save in advance for major purchases.

An update long overdue...

Well well well ... its been EONS since I have updated. For those who know me, you will know that I am not the best in terms of being consistent (such as blogging). Anyway I hope I will at least make the effort of updating at least once a month. So lets see if I can do that!

It would be totally pointless (not to mention hectic) for me to list every single item that I have purchased since I have last updated (especially now since I get a steady income), so I will just make some worthy notables:

Swatch Bijoux Japan Roses Ring ($55)

My mom used to be an avid Swatch collector so I knew their brand well, but now I hardly give their store a glance, so I don't know what came over me that day to walk over and look at their stuff. It was actually quite nice - they have a bunch of dainty pieces that are great for everyday wear. I actually wanted the Luludia ring - but it looked like crap on my fat fingers, this one was recommended to me by the sales associate, to my surprise it was quite flattering! I now wear it pretty much every day (if I was not in a rush out the door)!

Juicy Couture Snowflake boots ($120 - tax included - BARGAIN)

Yes, I have to admit - I LOVE this brand, especially their BAGS!!! (missologist would know) I love this brand so much that I have affected those around me - notably my cousin. I happened to go to to Pacific Mall one day and stopped by JCY House (ok fine, I was informed that their stores are having a 50% off everything sale). I was actually hoping to go in to look for a nice Juicy handbag, but nothing I liked was on sale. These boots caught my eye after I saw someone picking up the white ones. I found some brown ones (I was actually looking for black ones but no black), tried them on and they looked and felt great. Since I needed a pair of boots that I can walk in the snow and withstand the cold now that the snow finally came, it just gave me more reason to get them. Not to mention that the lady rounded off the price (it was suppose to be $124.54, original retail $250+tax). So yes I am set for the winter (shoes-wise)!

As if getting the Juicy boots were not enough, I went to another JCY within the week to see if I can score other deals (actually I wanted to look for another handbag). Instead I came out with these Puma boots. I know they look rather silly with that comforter thing on, but most of the time I would be wearing it without that thick thing wrapping around anyway(see the link for more pix). THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE! I got them for $94 (tax included) and well worthit because I have been wearing them pretty much everyday when there weren't any snow. Well to be honest, $94 for a pair of Pumas in Canada is actually excellent, any decent pair of Pumas are at least $100+....

So there you have it, I bought 2 pairs of shoes within the week... damn!

New Year-New Bag!

I had been looking for a new handbag for many months not. But nothing ever caught my eye. Today I was on my lunch break, walking to the post office to send some stuff-when of course the Sale sign yet again catches my eye at Nine West. I went in, and out I came with this Gunmetal Ruffle Bag for $AUD 69.00. I was actually in the store for quite sometime deciding between black, white or gunmetal! But decided on this colour coz its unique! ^__^. Yay, its the new year & I have a new bag to use! Wohooo!! Exciting! ~ Hmmm....Im still keeping my eyes open for more cool bags! Love Handbags !! hehehehe..I dont think I can live without them! Wahhaha I cant believe i said that! ! hehehe....! =P

Jingle jingle....that's how much I have left

December should be dubbed the evil month for shopaholics!! I spent so much....What the hell did I buy? well.........I remember shopping w/ my pal tgigiy on weekend. She snagged a few items & took me to Danier Leather. I never go to that store because frankly...I can't exactly afford everthing in there ^^ But fark I fell for this Navajo colored coat i tried on....a fox collar coat (original $449, sale 299). The fur trim is removable!

Also ordered a Dell Inspiron 6400 Notebook (too painful for words....but I was able to get $100 off phew.

My bf got me 'fark me boots' as he's called them. He doesn't like me in 'em but he knew I liked it and bought them for me at Browns. They're black suede wedge heels. $79 !! He also got me a beautiful white sweater from Benneton....wearing that when its my bday ^^

We went to Fort Lauderdale, FL for the holidays. Honestly didn't do much there except go to 2 beaches, tan, and shop at the world's largest outlet mall! Any brand you want....they've got! They even had a Saks outlet.....Nordstrom outlet...Juicy Couture...Cole Hann...sheeeez! Got 2 sweaters (black & olive) from J Crew for $20 each (original 60), brown suede open toe Steve Madden heels for $34 (original around 84 ish), rose roundneck sweater at Benneton for 25 (original was 50 ish), Brown suede Coach bag for $135 (original 350 ish), Reebok runners for $36 (originally $79)! All shopped out....no spare change for January......BIG SIGH :(

ReiaNStudio Sample Sale !!!!

Went to the sample sale at Spadina/Adelaide & Richmond with pal Suz after work. We would've arrived sooner had it not been the damn traffic jam at 404/Don Mills area. So we detoured & went dt using Bayview. It was FREEEEZING cold. But that's k. All was forgotten as soon as we were inside the building. 2 floors worth of clothes & accessories!!!

At first...things seemed a bit pricy. But if you really look you just might jsut find smth in your size & price range! There were 2 designers that really caught my eye. Arthur Mendonca & Joeffer Caoc. I just love their style! Nearly bought a purple wool coat, turquoise, navy coat from Arthur M. Unfortunately they didn't have my size! :( I loved everything in the racks though.

Anyhow I ended up buying a $35 tan pencil slim skirt from Joeffer Caoc in a size 6 (2006 spring collection)! OMG A reg size and it was available? Too good to be true! It fit even better than the black pencil slim skirt I bought from BCBG at Yorkdale and that was $130 @@. Also bought a cami & shorts from Honeydew in green/seal grey for $16. What a 'productive' day.
